So hard that we could even let go and he would just hang there. Sounds mean, but it lightened the mood for us some. I bring this up because he HAD to be held, and for several hours of the day he didn't want to be held while we sat. Nope, had to be standing; not sure what that was all about. Today is much better - we stayed on a strict medicine schedule overnight and since getting up for the day he has only needed on dose of tylenol. And that was for just a slightly elevated temperature, nothing like the past few days.
