It sure is excruciating, I'm pretty sure I've never felt like that before in my life. It was terrible.

I had no idea that was a common practice - to make a phone call. How strange. To make things slightly worse, the librarian lady (for lack of a better term) walked down to ask if she could transfer the call. Then fumbled around on her phone figuring out just HOW to transfer it.

On that subject, I had no idea how the whole waiting room phone monitoring thing worked. When the librarian left, random people just had to start answering the phone and then shouting the name who the call was actually for. How strange, I thought.

I'm so glad Ana is home and doing better! I do feel your pain about the phone calls ... Dad had around five surgeries after his heart attack. Being told you "have a phone call" is excruiciating. After I complained around the third surgery, they started sending a nurse to give us our news. Not a lot better ... but some.

Not a lot better … but some.
